Nooradddin (Matin) Nikadat is specialized in mining and rock mechanic engineering, including advanced numerical modeling to predict fallout in underground spaces in response to discontinuities and stress distribution, geomechanical mine design, rock stability assessment, and design and optimization of ground support for tunneling and mining. His Ph.D. research is focused on the numerical assessment of stress-induced damage in deep underground mines, which gave her particular skills in developing calibrated models for predicting rock engineering issues related to deep excavations in hard rocks. Additionally, he has hands-on experience with geotechnical data collection and site characterization.
He is an expert in numerical modeling by Itasca and rocscience software.
He did a lot of joint mapping and rock construction inspection during several years of work experience.
