Research

I am a PhD student in the process metallurgy group at LTU. My research is about developing a holistic model for efficent base metal extraction. The principal theme of the project is to work on the metallurgical challenge which antimony poses being an impurity in complex sulphide ores. My approach is to integrate the research findings related to geometallurcial behavior of antimonial minerals with my experimental results on the volatilization roasting of antimony to develop the basic framework of the holistic model. 

Background

I did my Masters in Process Engineering from IIT Bombay, India in 2010. My Bachelors degree is in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.
