Snezana Gavric’s research field focuses on stormwater quality in urban catchments. The work investigates performance of urban green infrastructure (grass swales) in enhancing stormwater quality. Final research aim is to improve the understanding of the processes behind the pollutant transport in small urban catchments.

Snezana started her PhD-research at the urban water engineering group in April 2016. Previously, Snezana has completed the master education at the department of Hydraulic nd Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Belgrade. The focus of her master thesis was rainfall-runoff modelling using artificial neural networks. In addition, she looked at a physically based hydrologic model to compare the results of the two approaches in the same catchment.
