Tobias C. Kampmann is an Associate Senior Lecturer in Ore Geology at Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden. He has an educational background from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and Lund University, Sweden. From 2012 to 2017, Tobias Kampmann worked as a PhD student at LTU, Sweden. The resulting PhD thesis on ore formation and structural controls at the Falun polymetallic deposit, south-central Sweden, received the Vattenfall award for best PhD thesis in 2017. Tobias Kampmann’s research interests include, but are not limited to, 3D/4D geological modelling, ore-forming processes, as well as technical innovation and sustainability in mining and exploration.
