Parking on the university campus Porsön, Luleå
Here you will find information about where to find parking, what rules apply and how you can pay for short-term parking, a monthly ticket or a season ticket.
On the university campus in Luleå, there are today a total of about 1,100 parking spaces, of which over 700 spaces are equipped with engine heaters. During the winter season between 15/10 and 15/4, all parking spaces with engine heaters can be rented for a short time via mobile app, text message or payment in ServicePoint, B-house.
Within the university's outlying areas, a check is made that our facilities are accessible for traffic, that the parking spaces are available for parking, as well as supervises incorrectly parked vehicles. Our signage and surveillance is carried out pursuant to the Act (SFS 1984: 318) on the control fee for unauthorized parking.
Some car parks have additional entrance signs stating that parking is only allowed between 06:00 and 24:00. Other times parking is prohibited.
Information boards for current payment services are posted in all paid car parks.
Remember to move the vehicle when the parking lot is being maintained, e.g. snow removal, sanding and sweeping. The university is not responsible for parked vehicles.

Parking lots without engine heaters that are not designated as visitor parking are still free of charge.

Via mobile app and sms
Two suppliers have been procured to deliver payment services via mobile app and text message for payment of short-term parking, monthly tickets and season tickets on the university campus in Luleå. As of November 9, 2021, these suppliers are Parkster AB and Easypark AB.

Via ServicePoint
If you can not pay via mobile app or text message, there is the opportunity to visit ServicePoint in the B-house to redeem a ticket for short-term parking. Remember that you must provide the car's registration number.
