Changed opening hours for university´s entrances

Published: 5 May 2020

From March 23, the university will be switching to the same routines that apply during the summer hours with regard to the opening hours of the entrances.

Now that the university is switching to distance mode, it means that we have fewer people staying in the university's premises. This means that we switch to the same routines that apply during holiday times, where most of the entrances in Skellefteå, Piteå and in Luleå will be available with card access. Regular opening hours are still valid for the Kiruna entrances.

In Luleå we lock all entrances to houses D, E and F. Some designated entrances in the A house will be open Monday-Thursday between 08:30-13:30 and some designated entrances in the B and C houses will be open Monday-Friday between 08:00-14:00. This allows visitors to get in touch with Service Point, the University Library, StiL, Centrumrestaurangen and Unika boxen.

Locking the entrances does not mean that the premises are closed. They are still available to staff and students with a valid LTU card. Make sure you have an updated LTU card and a working PIN code.
