Now the marshals are lit throughout December

Luleå University of Technology offered coffee and torchlight early on Friday morning. It has become a tradition to celebrate the first morning when the marshals are lit at Regnbågsallén. After that, the marshals shine every morning throughout December to welcome students and staff during the darkest time of the year.

The premiere morning of the marshalling, Luleå University of Technology - by tradition - offers a much-appreciated  torchlight with Christmas songs by Snapsakademien, in front of the spruce-covered winter staircase at the main entrance to the B-house, and buns and hot drinks are served.

Many came, not least several exchange students, to get an extra good start to the last working day or school day of the week and a reminder that it will soon be Christmas - and thus soon brighter days again. People munched on coffee and listened to Christmas carols  sung by the Snaps Academy on the winter stairs.

At Luleå University of Technology in Skellefteå, Kiruna, Piteå and Luleå, marshalls were lit this morning.
