Six-month internship - Master of Architecture

Luleå University of Technology offers its students in the Master of Architecture to pause for a six-month internship usually from June to December in their 4th year.

Through the internship, students see how their education skills will be used in professional work. Many companies and government agencies that receive interns are driving the development of the semi-annual internship.

As a city builder you can eg come to work for municipalities, government agencies or consulting firms with projects in urban design, planning, traffic planning or development.

Focusing construction can eg come to work on projects of architectural or engineering services, public and private property managers, public authorities, construction industry or in construction contractors, as project manager or project leader, program researcher or designer, property developer or quality control. For Construction Engineering it is important that in addition to practice on construction sites or in the construction industries.

Students get the opportunity to get to know the companies and businesses that offer internships under "Internships evening."

Students taking self-responsibility to seek his internship, but will if necessary support of the institution. Application and personal contacts with corporate and government representatives give students an opportunity for internship in terms of employment with salary.
