LTU is rebuilding and adapting premises in the B-House for the polar research secretariat

LTU and Akademiska hus welcome the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat to LTU, Sweden's northernmost campus. Right now the building is underway and the surfaces are expected to be ready on 30 June.

This means that the state authority Polarforskningsecretariatat moves into new and adapted premises, which previously were part of the university library (Wallenberg), July 1 They will have their entrance in the windbreaker / entrance to the B-house (plan 1) facing A -building. Today, the polar research secretariat hires temporary premises in the B-house.

The authority The Polar Research Secretariat has the task of coordinating and promoting Swedish polar research and has more than 32 employees who work with research planning, research infrastructure, communication and operational management.
