The health benefits are great if we regularly engage in some form of physical activity.

We get both better condition and strength, which means that we have more stamina, sleep is improved, we reduce the risk of suffering from certain diseases and premature death. We feel happier and more alert. Regular physical activity can also have a positive effect on both depression and anxiety. Good enough! And you as a student have even more to gain from being regularly physically active. Both memory, ability to concentrate, ability to learn and creativity are stimulated by training. And the body gets better at dealing with stress. You thus increase both your health and your opportunities to cope with your studies. WHAT you do is not as important as moving.
