Research
My primary research interests are intellectual history, in particular the development of editorial practices of medieval documents in the print era, and Arthurian literature, in particular Malorian afterlives. My work explores the critical aporia which occurred in the field of research around Sir Thomas Malory’s Le Morte Darthur, after the discovery in 1934 of an alternative version of the text.
I have also published articles on Malorian editorial practice and feminism, and on children’s literature dealing with literacy and the law. My current research deals with migration and literature.
