Organ Interpretation - Cahman Organ (1728) - 2019

A summer course for those who want to develop their abilities of interpreting above all Baroque music on a historical Organ (1728)
The course will be hold in Lövstabruk in a unique cultural environment close to Stockholm (100 km). The student will have the opportunity to play on a Baroque organ in original condition (Cahman organ) and other historical organs from the 18th and 19th centuries which are found nearby. Lessons will be given in an international masterclass atmosphere together with teachers, students and researchers from Sweden and the rest of Europe. The course will be led by Professor Gary Verkade from the School of Music in Piteå, Sweden.
