Selection

The selection is based on final school grades or Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test.



Course Aim
The student shall obtain the following abilities: Accomplish competent juridical analysis including the capacity of identifying legal problems and finding solutions within the areas of employment law.

Contents
Part 1 The course introduce the student in the employment law legislation and legal employment praxis are also covered. Special knowledge is given to the regulations concerning employees, employee protection and work environment questions. The remainder of this section deals with other employment law legislation such as laws for leave and salary security, representation laws, discrimination law, and public employment laws. Part 2 The student writes a report in an employment law area.

Realization
Instruction consists of lectures, seminars, exercises and report writing.

Examination
Written exam (part 1). Written memorandum and written opposition (part 2).

Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration eduets@ltu.se,not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.
