Course Aim
After the course, the student has got an overwiev and introduction to some important topics in applied mathematics, and also got some deeper insight to some selected parts.

Presentation of models and exampels and introductions to the following topics: Dimension analysis and scaling, pertubation methods, Calculus of variations, Partial differential equation models. Integral equations and Green’s Functions, Wave phenomena.
