Selection

The selection is based on 20-285 credits



Course Aim
Describe and discuss theoretical perspectives on leadership and group processes.

Analyse and discuss the significance of gender and gender equality perspectives in organisations. Identify, evaluate and discuss how individual, group and organisational factors constitute conditions for learning in activities.
Exhibit the ability to identify and argue for the need for activity development and prepare, execute and evaluate a project.


Contents

Theoretical perspective on leadership, group processes and activity development.

Prerequisites and strategies for improvement work and implementation.

Laws, regulations and policies that govern obligations and responsibilities within organisations.


Realization

The course is provided via distance learning and is web-based. Studies require experience with computers, internet access and a headset and webcam. The course has its educational foundation in the LTU educational concept. This way of working is characterised by each student being inspired to engage, as well as undertake independent and active learning that challenges their abilities. The student will actively seek and solve problems through an investigative and critically reflective approach. The course is coordinated with students in the Master’s programme in Occupational therapy with an advanced subject specialisation. Learning in the course occurs through literature studies, lectures, seminars, oral and written presentations, as well as their own advanced study project.


Examination

The course learning outcomes will be examined on an ongoing basis and achieving a Pass grade in the course requires that the student has achieved all of the learning outcomes for the course.  
The learning outcomes will be examined both verbally and in writing through assignment submissions, seminars and presentations.

Grading criteria for Pass and Pass (with distinction) are specified in the study guide.
