Head of the Division of Structural Engineering between 2008 - 2013. Between1994 and1998 coordinator of Brite EU project IPACS (Improved Production of Advanced Concrete Structures) and partner of EU project SCC (Self Compacting Concrete). Also, during 2000-2003 participation of SCC-testing (test methods of SCC). At the moment coordinator of Nordic project Crack-free Con. Has supervised >10 PhD students in young concrete effects, industrial site casting and fibre reinforced concrete

R & D manager of Betongindustri, Stockholm (since 1995 by 50 %). Betongindustri is a larger ready mixed concrete supplier in Sweden and is a subsidiary to Heidelberg Cement Group. R  D manager includes development of products and concepts benefiting the use of RMC (e.g. cracking, drying, self compacting, early surface finishing) as well as activities securing product performance and quality. Also chairman of reference group of basic research at Cement and Concrete Institute as well as chairman of the research board of Swedish Concrete Association. 

Research interests: Fresh and hardening concrete in general, thermal and shrinkage cracking, self compacting concrete, fibre reinforced concrete, optimisation of mix design. Sustainable structures.
Design solutions for e g industrial construction. industrial construction of concrete structures.
