I have been a PhD candidate at Luleå University of Technology since January 2023. My research focuses on how global sustainability agendas, particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are translated into municipal planning in Arctic municipalities. I am interested in understanding how global sustainability priorities are interpreted, adapted, and integrated into local planning and governance.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a Master's degree in Spatial Planning and Developmnet from Umeå University, where I developed a strong interest in sustainable urban development and planning.
