Snezana Gavric
Postdoctoral researcher
Research subject: Urban Water Engineering
Division: Architecture and Water
Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering
About me
Snezana’s main research field is about metal characteristics in soils and sediments that are part of, or accumulate in, different components of stormwater drainage systems.
Her PhD research focuses on grass swale performance in stormwater quality control and accompanying impact on the soil-grass media. A field study was conducted to characterize the soil chemistry of three swales, which serve for stormwater drainage and winter snow storage. This work was presented in her Licentiate thesis in December 2020. More recently she is working with assessing metal characteristics in sediments from stormwater treatment ponds as well as gully pots.
Snezana started her PhD-research at the Urban water engineering group in April 2016. Previously, Snezana has completed the master education at the department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Belgrade.
