Local buses
From the bus stop Smedjegatan city, easily accessible from all hotels in Luleå city, there are several bus lines to the university area. Lines 4, 5, 6, 7 and 14 all go via the university. Länstrafiken
Länstrafiken buses stop at the bus station at Loet. It is a few minutes walk to the bus stop Shopping or Smedjegatan city. Some lines also stop at the university. See link below for more information and travel planning.

E4 from the north (from Haparanda)
Follow signs for Luleå and turn off towards Rutvik and Porsön. Follow the signs to Porsön (about 7km), then you have arrived with the technology village Aurorum on the right and the university area on the left.
E4 south or north (main entrance)
Follow the E4 and take the exit Trafikplats Notviken from the E4. Keep right and follow the signs for Luleå. Follow road 97. At the first roundabout - follow signs for Porsön / Universitetet / Teknikens hus.

Follow signs for Luleå. Then follow signs for Porsön / Universitetet / Teknikens hus.
Parking lot
On the university campus in Luleå, there are currently about 1,100 parking spaces, of which over 700 spaces are equipped with engine heaters. During the winter season between 15/10 and 15/4, all parking spaces with engine heaters can be rented short-term via mobile app, text message or payment in Service Point, B-house.

In the university's outer areas, a daily check is made to ensure that our entrances are accessible to traffic, that the parking areas are available for parking and to monitor incorrectly parked vehicles. Some parking lots have additional entry signs stating that it is only allowed to park there between 06:00 and 24:00. At other times, parking is prohibited. Information boards for current payment services are posted in all paid parking lots. Remember to move your vehicle when parking maintenance is in progress, such as snow removal, sanding and sweeping. The university is not responsible for parked vehicles.

If you cannot pay by mobile app or text message, you can visit Service Point in the B building to buy a ticket for short-term parking. Remember that you must provide the car's registration number.

By bike
It is excellent to get to the university by bike. There is plenty of bicycle parking and a bicycle path all the way. On the university campus in Luleå there is a bicycle pump available along the Rainbow Hall in connection with entrance B10.
By train
From Luleå train station it is only a few minutes walk to the bus stops Shopping (line 4, 5, and 7) or Smedjegatan city (line 4, 5, 6, 7 or 14) from which you can get to the university. Several trains stop at the train stop in Notviken.
By air
Airportbus
Local bus line 4 runs from Luleå Airport (Kallax) to Luleå city center and then on to the university area on Porsön.
Flygtaxi
Taxis to and from the airport to the university are of course also available.
