Saeed is within the top 2% of scientists worldwide, with over 170 peer-reviewed journal publications (H-index 48). He is a professor of mineral processing at LTU, mainly working on upgrading critical raw materials and recycling. He has projects on ore beneficiation (mineral processing) and leaching of natural and secondary metal and material sources (recycling).
His current projects are about:
- Green flotation (collectors, depressants, frothers, fine and ultrafine particles)
- Recycling Batteries and electric magnets
- Applied AI in mining, mineral processing, and hydrometallurgy (leaching)
