Saeed is within the top 2% of scientists worldwide, with over 170 peer-reviewed journal publications (H-index 43). He is a professor of mineral processing (mineralteknik) at LTU, mainly working on AI modeling, upgrading critical raw materials, and recycling. He has projects on ore beneficiation (mineral processing- mostly froth flotation) and leaching of natural and secondary metal and material sources (recycling).
