Tosin Adewumi is a researcher in natural language processing (NLP) under the supervision of Prof. Marcus Liwicki as principal supervisor and Foteini Liwicki as assistant supervisor. My PhD topic is "Vector Representations of Idioms in Data-Driven Chatbots for Robust Assistance". We have ongoing work to produce idioms dataset in English (with over 1,100 cases spread across 10 classes). We have produced the Swedish analogy test set for word embeddings. The state-of-the-art, open-domain chatbot to be deployed will be based on reinforcement learning (RL).
