Ahmad is a researcher specializing in climate resilience and reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) applications, driven by a passion for sustainable urban development combatting extreme climate events. Collaborating with diverse transport consultancy firms, he has successfully led various qualitative and quantitative research projects.

Ahmad's research principles are rooted in the profound belief that urban assets and infrastructures can be reimagined and managed innovatively to ensure sustainability, quality, and efficiency, particularly in the face of climate change challenges.

Over the past years, he has dedicated his expertise to exploring cutting-edge data-driven decision-making approaches, developing predictive models, and investigating RAMS concepts within the context of evolving climate change scenarios (Representative Concentration Pathways [RCPs]/Shared Socioeconomic Pathways [SSPs]).
