Amir Azim Zadeh

About me

Amir M. Azim Zadeh is a Senior Lecturer Ore Geology at Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden. Amir received his Ph.D. degree from Montan Universität Leoben, Austria, in 2009 with a thesis entitled “The genetic model of the Hohentauern/Sunk sparry magnesite deposit (Eastern Alps/Austria)”, supervised by Prof. Fritz Ebner. While working on his PhD, he was employed as a part time Research Associate at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and worked in prospecting and exploration for magnesite deposits in Austria and Turkey for RHI Refractories Group and Msgnesit A.S. After completing his Ph.D, Amir was employed as a Postdoc and Researcher at Montan Universität Leoben, Austria from 2009 to 2014. From 2014 to 2020 he worked as an Assistant Professor in Economic Geology at University of Zanjan, Iran.
