I am Arne Nykänen, Associate Professor of Engineering Acoustics. I am teaching acoustics and doing research mainly within the following areas:

- Sound for VR

- Design of sound signals and multisensory signals in cars

- Interior sounds in cars

- Applied psychoacoustics

- Monitor technology for protection of musicians' hearing
