I am Arne Nykänen, Associate Professor of engineering ecoustics at the research subject Structural Engineering. I am teaching acoustics and doing research mainly within the following areas:
- Sound for VR and VR for sound design processes in architecture
- Design of sound signals and multisensory signals in cars
- Interior sounds in cars
- Applied psychoacoustics
- Monitor technology for protection of musicians' hearing
