About me
I am a university lecturer in the research subject occupational science, department Human and technology, and doctor of philosophy in gender and technology. Most of my teaching takes place within the bachelor's program in sociology at LTU.
My doctoral project was about how gender, technology and value(s) were being done within ICT research organizations, where I used gender theory, science and technology studies, and (post)Marxist theory of value and values. After my dissertation, I have researched on, among other things, masculinity, safety and risk at a nuclear power plant, on method coordination within the rescue service, on the impact of organizational forms on employee well-being and on what affects healthcare's ability to retain employees. I am currently participating in a research project on working conditions and gender equality in the Swedish metal industry (Komplätt).
I hold a bachelor degree in gender studies from Södertörn University with a focus on philosophy and sociology. Special interests are sociological and philosophical questions around gender, class, work, technology, and Marxist philosophy and theory.
I have previosly been a board member of the Swedish Association of Gender Researchers and am currently member of the board of the Centre for Marxist Social Studies (CMS).
