About me
I was born in Umeå, Sweden and after doing my military service in Boden, I moved to Luleå to study computer science. I graduated from the Master of Science program in Computer Science and Engineering in January 1998. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in April, 2002 and 2006 I was promoted to Associate Professor (docent). Since January 2012, I am a full professor in the Signal Processing group.
My main research is in ultrasound techniques for imaging, material characterization and non-destructive testing. Specifically, the research focuses on signal processing and data analysis problems related to ultrasonics.
