About me
My research interests are within the field of outdoor education. I am particularly interested in place-based learning and how humans form different relationships and understandings of the natural environment.
My doctoral project, Learning from the Land, seeks to uncover how arctic farmers develop different understandings of the various farmlands they care for and manage. The research builds upon ethnographic life history methodology and aspires to produce knowledge that could facilitate lifelong learning among arctic farmers.
My research network spans both nationally and internationally. I am affiliated with the National Research Centre for Outdoor Education in Sweden and the International Life History and Biography Network within the European Society for Research on the Education of Adults.
