About me
My current research is within the area of medical geology and focuses on how element distributions in soil, surface and groundwater, and in certain plants throughout Sweden are related to neurodegenerative disease rates. This project incorporates geochemical data from many different facets along with health data through geospatial statistics and is a part of the PRECISE research school.
I completed my master’s program in exploration and environmental geosciences with a focus in environmental geochemistry at Luleå university of technology. My thesis explored the possibility of adding wood ash to mine waters to stimulate algal growth and the potential for this method to lower metal concentrations in these waters.
