About me
Research
Focuses on how occupational health and safety is shaped in the industry sector through, on the one hand, management and governance, and on the other hand, organisational culture. An important strand of this work concerns how the division of roles and responsibilities shapes the conditions for occupational health and safety management. More recently, the research has also turned to issues of social sustainability in supply/contracting chains, with a focus on how overarching policies and governance are translated and negotiated in practice between clients and contractors
Teaching
Primarily focuses on research methods in the sociology programme, serving as examiner for three courses:
- Methods in sociology I, 15 ECTS
- Applied sociological analysis and method, 15 ECTS
- Perspectives on evaluation, 7.5 ECTS
In addition, serves as the program director for the commissioned education Occupational Health and Safety Technician, developed in collaboration with LKAB, and currently co-supervises three PhD students.
