Departments mission

The department is responsible for analyzes and preparation of cases for managers within the university such as vice-chancellor, heads of departments, heads of subjects, subject representatives and head of professional services. The department provides support and service to management, employees and students in administrative areas.

The department is responsible for coordinating and preparing departments operational planning, follow-up, reporting and analyses. The department actively contributes to development work and the streamlining of service and administration within the entire university.

The department's mission is also to promote operational development within LTU's operations and responsibility for the models in this area as well as the operational work with the project portfolio.

Organisation

The Professional services department includes five administrative units that are physically located at the university's five departments as well as a common resource pool. The administrative groups are led by an administrative manager.

The department also includes the Coordination and Management Support units and the Development Office.

There are roughly 130 employees within the department.
