Monika Lindberg

About me

I am a PhD student in occupational therapy in the research project "Promoting a sustainable working life for people with cognitive disabilities in a digitalized era". We know that work is an important and meaningful occupation for most humans. With the increased digitalization of society, working life has also changed, which means new challenges and cognitive demands on employees. In our project, we want to gain more knowledge about how cognitive difficulties related to stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and post COVID-19 syndrome affect the ability to work and engage in other activities in everyday life in a digitalized era. We also want to gain knowledge about how employers reason about work environment work with a focus on digital work environment and cognitive load.
