About
Nikita's primary research interest centers on the quality of urban stormwater runoff. His work predominantly focuses on the application of water quality sensors and the analysis of continuous, high-resolution temporal data sets. Recently, he has been particularly interested in validating and correcting large sensor-acquired datasets using current best practices and exploring the potential of data-driven, machine learning approaches. Currently, he is investigating data-driven models for imputing missing data in the context of runoff quality.
Nikita holds a dual master's degree in Energy Technology Engineering from Russia and Finland, with specialization in water treatment technologies for thermal and nuclear power plants.
