Per-Erik Eriksson

Background

Per Erik Eriksson was born 1973 in Södertälje, Sweden. He was awarded a M.Sc. in business administration and a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2001, and a Ph.D. in industrial management in 2007. Professor in industrial management, with specialty in construction management, at Luleå University of Technology in 2014. Per Erik lives in Stockholm but work full time at the division of Industrialized and sustainable construction, Luleå University of Technology. He is interested in outdoors activities, especially running and cross-country skiing.

Research

My research focuses on procurement, governance and management of construction projects, and innovation and learning in project-based organisations. Since 2016, I have been program manager for the research group ProcSIBE's research together with the Swedish Transport Administration. I have been and I am currently acting as project manager for multiple research projects, financed by Formas, the Swedish Transport Administration, SBUF, Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser, Ragnar Söderbergs stiftelse, the Swedish Competition Authority, Vinnova, and directly from industry by means of collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration, LKAB, NCC, Scania, etc. I have articles authored or co-authored in multiple international research journals, including articles in Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Long Range Planning, Journal of Business to Business Marketing, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Innovation Management, International Journal of Technology Management, Project Mangement Journal, International Journal of Project Management, Construction Management and Economics, och Journal of Management in Engineering.

Teaching

Per Erik is (and has been) a supervisor for several doctoral students, at the division of Industrialized and sustainable construction but also at KTH. He has also been teaching in courses for doctoral students. He supervises master theses and teaches courses at the division of Industrialized and sustainable construction.
