About me
My name is Petter and I am often and proudly stating that I am from a small island on the Helgeland coast of Norway called Løkta. There I grew up among cows and amazing nature, which probably have had its say in my later appetite for meat and trekking. Other activities I hold in high regard are: (1) Listening to Music, (2) Watching Films, (3) Going to The Gym and (4) Playing on The PlayStation.
Considering my involvement in research, I have eventually learned to enjoy and appreciate topics that involve Phase Transitions and especially those revolving polymers. Stuff like polymer conformational transitions, polymer solid-solution transitions involving weak interactions and relaxation processes eventually affecting what one observes through macroscopic properties and how this can be controlled are topics that push the right buttons for me.
