About me
Saleha Haseeb is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning at Luleå University of Technology, affiliated with the Embedded Intelligent Systems LAB in the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering. She has over a decade of experience across academia and industry, with expertise in machine learning, cyber-physical systems, and AI-driven digitalization. She received her doctoral degree from LTU in 2025 with the dissertation Cloud-based IoT and Collaborative Learning for Cyber-Physical System of Systems .
Research Focus
Her research spans AI for pedagogy and educational technology, IoT interoperability, predictive maintenance, and smart manufacturing, including work on machine-to-machine translation for smart buildings and condition monitoring in the wind energy sector.
Her current work within LTU's AI4Pedagogy research area focuses on AI-assisted tools for teachers and conversational AI that support deeper, more equitable, and more efficient student learning, while promoting ethical and responsible human-AI collaboration in education. She has also contributed to the Erasmus+ AI4EDU initiative, where LTU advanced curriculum innovation, teacher readiness, and sustainable AI integration in education through solutions such as Study Buddy for students and Teacher Mate for teachers.
