Innovation and business advice
It starts with an idea
It doesn't even have to be good, finished or well thought out. Yet.

The idea coaches at Luleå University of Technology will help you see if it is possible to make something bigger out of your idea. The help is free and you can contact the idea coaches via the form!

The idea doesn't even have to be good. Yet.
With proven methods and tools, we can help you to:
- Define and confirm the problem so you're on the right track from the start.
- Refine your idea according to the insights that come along the way.
- Calculate the idea and see if it's worth investing in.
- See which market has the most potential.
- See if your idea can be protected.
- Find support for the next steps, such as start-up, funding and team members.
Book a first idea meeting and we'll buy you a cup of coffee! It's free, confidential and often quite fun.
How does an idea meeting work?
During the meeting, you can tell us about your idea, or the problem or need that you have identified and want to do something about. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and reflect together with our experienced idea coaches. And as I said. Your idea doesn't have to be finished! On the contrary, you will improve your chances if you meet us early in the process. It's better to come to us once because too much is too little. You'll learn something new from every trip!
Past ideas that became innovations
There are many ideas that have seen the light of day and reached their full potential with the help of our idea coaches.
Here are two inspiring examples: Tommie Lagdahl has developed Nowa Drops, cleaning products for a cleaner planet, and Linn Gerhardsson's idea prevents sexual abuse of women outdoors.
