On many markets there are firms that exercise some kind of market power. E.g., cartels might exercise market power to increase the price level. This course analyse markets with such behavior.

You will after the course have a good understanding of different market structures and how these markets function. Furthermore, you will have an advanced understanding and knowledge to analyse different markets and their price determination as well as a comprehensive understanding regarding different strategic choices that firms can make in order to affect the market outcome. In addition, you will learn how to read, understand and implement scientific articles.
