Do not worry, here you will find answers to common questions about the application process, cost and fees, and what it is like to study at Luleå University of Technology.
We cannot assess your eligibility before you have applied. Make sure to read the requirements for the programme you want to apply to carefully and make sure to upload all documentation stated on universityadmissions.se
We will review your application. If you are not eligible you will receive a message with information about what is missing. March 27th the admissions result is published for the Master’s and April 3rd for the Bachelor’s. See the timeline on univeristyadmissions.se

If you are a citizen of a country within the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you are not required to pay application or tuition fees to study in Sweden.
If you are from a country outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you are required to pay an application fee and tuition fees. The tuition fee varies. How much you should pay is dependent on the course/programme you are admitted to. The information is available once the application period opens on Universityadmission.se.

If you are from a country outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you are required to pay an application fee. This fee must be paid before the application deadline, since the assessment of the application is dependent on payment of the fee. If you are from a country outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland you have to pay a tuition fee for your studies.
The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships targets highly-qualified students from many different countries, and are offered for a variety of our programs. Keep a look out for which programmes scholarships are available for this year.
Luleå University of Technology can also offer specific programme scholarships in collaboration with industry partners, as well as tuition waivers for second year master students.
