Mechanics of Fiber Composites

7.5 Credits, Course, master's level, T7011T
After completion of the course students will gain an understanding of microstructure – properties relationship for fiber reinforced polymeric matrix composites.

Students will develop skills of analysis and design of structural elements made of composite laminates. Participants of the course will acquire a practical experience in experimental measurements of mechanical properties and they will have opportunity to use commercial software for laminate analysis.
