
Awarded student in ore geology
This year's scholarship from Janne Kempe Foundation for the best MSc thesis in economic geology went to Réginald Fettweis from the Master Programme in Exploration and Environmental Geosciences with the MSc thesis titled "Geology of the Fäbodliden C lode gold deposit in northern Sweden."
It was SveMin's CEO Per Ahl who handed out the 2015 scholarship for meritorious study work in the field of economic geology. The award was 15,000 Swedish crowns

Nomination Group appointed by the Exploration Committee consisted of Mathias Forss, Scandinavian GeoPool and Lars Malmström, Zinkgruvan Mining AB.
From the Justification
The work is extensive and well executed. The work methodology is modern and the work is well described. The interpretation methods used demonstrate a scientific understanding and that extensive literature studies were made.
The work has provided new knowledge and important information about the gold mineralization and its character and potential for exploitation within the working area.
