Bachelor Programme in Computer Graphics for Game and Film is an education for those who want to create digital environments, characters, animations and visual effects for movies, TV-series and computer games.
The education is for you who have a strong interest in image creation and problem solving. Perhaps you are already exploring the possibilities within digital technology, such as 3D modeling, animation and visual effects. You are creative and driven by creating moving images or computer games that recount and captivate. During the education, you will have the opportunity to train your technical and visual skills with professional software and equipment, as well as develop your ability to go from concept to a finished film or game production.
The theoretical parts of the courses are carried out in the form of literature studies, seminars, written reflections and analyzes of your own or your fellow students results. Practical parts are carried out in the form of small film or computer game productions. You will work with industrial standard software - for example Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Maya, Motionbuilder, Nuke, Houdini, ZBrush and Unity / Unreal Engine. You will have access to a dedicated workstation and professional equipment / studios for film recording, motion capture, 3D scanning and virtual reality. Throughout the education, you will work across subject boundaries together with scenographers, film photographers, game designers, computer graphics from the industry and students from the computer game programming program.
The education has a large network nationally and internationally in the industry of visual effects and computer games. You will have the opportunity to get in touch with large as well as small studios around the world. Many of our former students work for companies such as Dneg, Framestore, MPC, Weta Digital, ILM, DICE, Paradox and Massive. You can work with film and TV productions, in the advertising industry and in the computer game industry.
