About me
Academic Profile
I’m an architect and engineer, with a doctoral degree in urban planning, and work experiences and collaborations in Asia and Europe. My research aims to facilitate a more inclusive, sustainable, and creative climate transition in cities from an urban design and planning perspective.
At LTU, research and doctoral education are conducted within clearly defined research subjects led by a Chaired Professor. I lead the architecture research subject which consists of about 30 senior researchers, phd candidates, and teachers with a yearly turnover of c. 3 mEur.
My research has been funded, e.g., by EU Horizon & Interreg, JPI, DUT, Mirai, Swedish Energy Agency, Formas, Vinnova, and QNRF. My work has been published in a variety of media and journal outlets including the Venice Architecture Biennale, CNN International, and Nature.
