About me
Academic Profile
I’m an architect and engineer, with a doctoral degree in urban planning, and work experiences and collaborations in Asia and Europe.
My work focuses on the cities-resources nexus, urban experiments/labs, and climate-sensitive design/planning. My aim is to develop knowledge to facilitate a more inclusive, sustainable, and creative climate transition in cities.
At LTU I lead a research group of 30 researchers and teachers with a yearly turnover of c. 3 mEur. I have worked as PI in a number of research projects funded, e.g., by the Qatar QNRF, EU Horizon, Swedish Energy Agency, Formas, and Vinnova (total: c. 6 mEur as PI).
My work has been published in academic journals and books as well as popularized in other media outlets and events such as the Venice Architecture Biennale, CNN International, and Domus.
