Alexandra Müller
Associate Senior Lecturer
Research subject: Urban Water Engineering
Division: Urban Water Engineering
Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering

Alexandra Müller's research interest is in stormwater quality and is mainly related to identifying and investigating pollution sources of urban stormwater as well as source control to minimise the transport of pollutants with urban stormwater. The investigated pollutant groups include both metals and organic substances. The research also includes sampling methods for stormwater as well as potential effects of stormwater on both the surrounding environment and groundwater quality. The research is conducted through laboratory and pilot scale experiments as well as field sampling of stormwater and snow in urban areas.
In addition to research, Alexandra is responsible for the undergraduate course programme in Urban Water Engineering and teaches in the following courses (in Swedish):
- V0015B Sustainable building
- V0016B Urban water systems
- V0024B Circularity, maintenance and waste management
