About me
My career in architecture and planning is distinguished by a longstanding commitment to working jointly in practice and academia. In practice, I have delivered several flagship design projects with leading urban and architectural practices, including Koetter Kim and Associates, Urban Initiatives, and Foster and Partners. In academia, I have also been engaged with many leading academic institutions, including the Bartlett School of Planning, the Mackintosh School of Architecture and Luleå University of Technology.
In my work, I am continuously involved in urban projects, teaching, and research, and I draw together these experiences to develop my approach to contemporary practice and academic development.
I completed my PhD in Architecture from Luleå University of Technology (Sweden), Mphil in Town & Country Planning from the Bartlett (University College London, England) and Master of Architecture from the Mackintosh School of Architecture (Glasgow University, Scotland), To date, I have been elected as a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA, UK), the Royal Town Planning Insitute (RTPI, UK), Building Architect SAR/MSA (Sweden) and Planning Architect FPR/MSA (Sweden).
Design Awards
During my career, I have worked on a number of architecture and urban design competitions. This has led to a range of awards from the Royal Town Planning Institute, Scottish Government, Francis Tibbalds, NATO, Hong Kong Government, and International Federation for Housing and Planning, Netherlands.
