The course provides basic knowledge in dimensioning of solar energy systems

The course gives students the knowledge on how to dimension a solar collector system for residential use through both manual calculations and computer simulations. The students will also be able to estimate solar radiation at any place in the world with the help of statistical cloudiness models, as well as evaluate different types of solar heating systems.
