Design of Rock Constructions

The aim of the course is to deepen your understanding and knowledge about theoretical and applied rock mechanics. You will apply analytical, empirical, and numerical methods of analysis complex problems in rock mechanics. The focus is on the design of rock support as well as stress and strain analysis using analytical and numerical methods. You will apply you skills and knowledge to evaluate the stability of complex rock constructions.
