– The purpose of March for Science Luleå is to spread knowledge about what science is and why it is so important. We want research results and their impact in society to be visible. It is therefore important that we, as a university, systematically and purposefully work to make research more open, inclusive and accessible to the public, says Luleå University of Technology's Vice-Chancellor Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn.
The overall aim of March for Science in Sweden 2018 is that scientific facts should be highlighted when political proposals are debated during the election year.
