Vice-Chancellor Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn new member of IVA
Kungl. The Royal Academy of Sciences (IVA) strengthens its competence and know-how with 42 new members, seven of whom are international. Among those elected are Johan Kuylenstierna, Deputy Chairman of the Swedish Climate Policy Council, Johan Forssell, CEO of Investors, Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn, Vice-Chancellor at Luleå University of Technology and Director Andreas Schleicher from the OECD.
– It feels very honoring to be elected to IVA, which is a historically prestigious academy that through projects such as Hållbar Nystart Sverige, Jobbsprånget and Tekniksprånget both address important societal challenges and contribute concretely to a positive development, Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn says, Vice- Chancellor at Luleå University of Technology .
