Research
I started as a PhD student in 2020 and my thesis focuses on work in e-commerce. More specifically, I am interested in the relationship between work and gender and race/ethnicity in e-commerce warehouses, and how this is materialized in the work organization and work environment. The thesis is based on ethnographic and feminist method and theory.
As part of the thesis work, I participate in the FORTE-funded project "Handel 4.0.? Work environment and inequality in e-commerce" (2020-2023) together with Kristina Johansson and Tiziana Sardiello, Luleå University of Technology and Svend Erik Mathiassen, Jennie Jackson and Camilla Zetterberg , University of Gävle.
I also participate in the project Komplätt (2022-2024) where we investigate working conditions and gender equality in the metal industry.
I have an academic background in gender studies (MA in Women's and Gender Studies, University of Hull & Universidad de Oviedo, 2018).
